Lisa Archibald

Lisa is a proud Scot who has set up, coordinated and trained peer support and lived experience led communities internationally for over 20 years. She was a Winston Churchill fellow in 2013, a Yale Let(s) LEAD fellow in New Zealand in 2019 and recently completed a PgCert in Mad Studies.

Lisa returned to Scotland in 2020 after seven years of living, learning and fighting with immigration systems in Aotearoa/ New Zealand. On her return, she joined the Intentional Peer Support leadership team as one of the three co-directors joining kiwi Chris Hansen and founder, Shery Mead, who are both based in Vermont, USA.

Lisa is an internationally recognised and highly regarded speaker, writer, trainer and activist who is passionate about maintaining the fidelity of peer support and honouring its radical history and roots.
