Sell or sue? How publishers deal with generative AI platforms that use their content

News publishers are divided in how they should engage with generative AI companies that seek to use news content. Some are taking offensive action by initiating legal action, others are trying to hash out deals and ways to collaborate with the platforms. It’s hard to know which side of the fence to sit on.
