Live video, news games and more: New speakers announced for February’s newsrewired

The next newsrewired digital journalism conference is taking place on 8 February at Reuters in Canary Wharf, London.

The Journalism.co.uk team is currently finalising the agenda, but before we can publish the full programme, we are pleased to announce speakers from Quartz, Al Jazeera, The Sun and IBT Media will be joining our expert line-up at the event.

The day will feature a mix of workshops and panel discussions about the latest tools, trends and techniques in digital journalism, including live social video, automation, collaboration, news games and more.

Announcing sessions and first speakers for February’s newsrewired

Journalism.co.uk’s next newsrewired digital journalism conference is taking place on 8 February at the Reuters offices in London, and the team has been hard at work on the programme for what is now our 18th event!

(We’re also working on the 19th but more on that some other time.)

We’re pleased to be able to announce some of the sessions delegates will be able to join in February and the first confirmed speakers, including experts from the Guardian, The Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal and On Our Radar.

Sessions include: the new grammar of live video on social, automation in the newsroom, reaching remote communities, information security for journalists, special projects and newsroom collaboration, and more.

Announcing the next newsrewired event – 8 February 2017

Journalism.co.uk is pleased to announce the next newsrewired digital journalism conference will take place on 8 February 2017 at Reuters in Canary Wharf, London.

This will be our 18th conference, and as usual, we’re aiming to provide delegates with practical skills and ideas they can take home and explore in their own organisations.

The day will feature a mix of workshops and panel discussions about the latest tools, trends and techniques in digital journalism. We are currently working on the programme and we will be announcing the sessions and the first speakers over the next few weeks.

A limited number of discounted early-bird tickets is available for £130 +VAT until 1 October or until the tickets sell out, whichever comes first – after that, tickets will be available for £180+VAT.
