It’s a one-day event for journalists and communications professionals with a specialist subject or beat. Whether you follow a specific industry or a localised community, we hope you’ll come away with new practical ideas for online publishing.

The first news:rewired event took place on 14 January 2010 at City University London and you can read some of the coverage here.

We’re now starting to plan our next event – focusing on journalists with a specialism, whether that’s working for a niche publisher, reporting for a B2B title or trawling your local area for stories.

We’ve got our own ideas about what should be on the agenda and who we’d like to speak, but we’re open to suggestions, offers of support and sponsorship.
