Workshop: Turning community into content, with The Telegraph

At The Telegraph, the community team prides itself on making the voices of the audience known. Whether it’s by feeding reader sentiment to newsdesks, publishing reader-led articles, or running ‘below the line’ sessions where authors respond to the readers directly, including the audience in its journalism is at the heart of what The Telegraph does.

In this workshop, you will discover all the different engagement tools The Telegraph uses to connect with its audience, including the various forms of content which gets published as a result. These include: polls, particles, entry forms and more.

You will then think about your own identified audiences and develop a strategy for how best you would gather and use their opinions to benefit your editorial output.
