At least half of the world’s adults will head to more than 70 elections taking place in 2024 across the globe. In Europe, nine parliamentary elections will take place and at least four will have a profound impact on the old continent’s future. This is in addition to elections in India, the USA, Taiwan, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine and Iran.
2024 is the world’s biggest election year yet. This is also the first time that crucial elections are held since powerful generative AI tools became widely available.
